Sarah Wheeler founded Building Bridges Global in 2022 to bring measurement discipline to interpreter training, a field she has practiced for more than two decades across medical, legal, VRS, educational, and community settings.
She holds an M.Ed. in Interpreter Pedagogy, an M.S. in Psychology, a B.A. in Business Management, and a Certificate in Nonprofit Management from Duke University. She served as adjunct and visiting instructor at UNC Greensboro from 2011 to 2018 and as faculty at Troy University, and presents at CATI 2026.
As an Air Force veteran and a CODA (a child of Deaf adults) with lifelong engagement in the Deaf community, her certifications are not administrative categories. They are the biography of the person who owns, leads, and still practices in this company.
