Building Bridges Global LLC is a woman- and veteran-owned small business designing emotionally intelligent, neuroscience-informed learning experiences for professionals working across language, culture, and connection.

Why We Exist
The Challenge:

Our Story
Building Bridges Global was founded by Sarah Wheeler, a Coda, interpreter, and educator with master’s degrees in both psychology and interpreting pedagogy. As the oldest of six siblings, a veteran of the U.S. military, and the daughter of Deaf parents, Sarah has spent her life navigating high-stakes environments where communication, leadership, and emotional resilience aren’t optional, they’re everything.

She and her husband both served in the military, and that shared experience informs how she sees systems: their pressure points, their blind spots, and their potential for transformation. Her mother—EQ-i certified and deeply emotionally attuned, modeled what it looks like to lead with both heart and clarity. Her father taught her that “everything is fixable,” a belief she carries into every workshop, every system, every partnership.

That mix of intergenerational wisdom, field-tested resilience, and cross-cultural fluency shaped a vision for something more:
